Distribution Unit (138-118) for Raytheon Anschütz Kiel Standard 22 Gyrocompass
The Distribution Unit 138-118 is an aluminium-cast housing containing two integrated printed circuit boards:

At the bottom of the housing, there are 40 cable inlets for connecting repeaters, gyros, and other heading receivers and sensors.
Main functions of the Distribution Unit:

Distributes heading information to all connected heading receivers.

Provides system monitoring through alarm and status messages.

Acts as a gateway between DV-Bus and CAN-Bus.

Supplies power to all connected heading receivers and heading sources (sensors).

Stores variation and deviation values for the magnetic compass.
The unit requires no operational procedures during normal use. Only the initial setup involves DIP-switch adjustments on the CAN Network Module Interface PCB.
